Cloud Shadow 71
Under the slow
movin' sun
and the
blinkin' star light ~
As all the colors
shift around
and deepen
into the night ~
I still got, how-
ever,
this awesome
God Light ~
Gettin'
more
n'
more bright ~
On this slow-lane
slowwwwwww
Deep
Desert flight ~
Along a cracked
up
dried up
deep river bed ~
So why
am I ~
while the sun shines
so "good morning" red ~
So why
am I
so filled with lone-
liness and dread?
Shiver me timbers!
what's
that
up ahead?
Cloud Shadow 72
I don't think
I'm capable of
describing
this Light ~
As for the grandeur
of this canyon
a photo would maybe
provide more insight ~
Actually, one thousand
post cards
might provide
a tin key ~
As to how magnifico'
this canyon has
become
to po' bony me ~
At
an-
y
rate ~
God Light
is
greater
than great ~
It shines all the
tiiiiiiime
whether
early or late ~
It shines in
a rock
and on the skin
of Your Mate ~
It shines
in
a
star ~
Maybe even in the
music made on an
electric
geeeeeeetar ~
That is, if he who twangs
it can see past his
nose
that farrrrrrr ~
Is knowledge of
God
this
light?
I don't know
but it's
shorrrrrrr
getting bright ~
In this canyon
up
which
I fatefully trek ~
Marooned on this
faithfully
afloat
tug boat wreck ~
But, God help me, what's
that monolithic chunk
of cheese
up ahead?
That fills me with
loneliness
so much loneliness
so much dread...
Cloud Shadow 73
Whipple snipple
shnick oops!
boo!
eck! slammmmmmm ~
It's
a
frickin'
dam!!!
Cloud Shadow 74
What do you
think
of that, little
skeleton man?
Oh
Ann
Ann
Ann!
You're so lovely
but on
thee
other hand ~
I'm
just
a
man ~
And a poor
skeleton
man
to boot ~
Oh but
I
can yahoo!
and hoot!
You're
such
a
hip tease ~
I'm
just
an
old sneeze ~
So motionless
infront
of
this Dam!
Oh
Ann
Ann
Annnnnnn!
Cloud Shadow 75
Oh!
why
why
why cannot I ~
Split
You
the
sky?
Heavenward
we
could
ascend ~
Little babies
and
all with-
out any end...
